Since thursday all RETRO crew busy bending, cutting, notcherring, assembly frame parts & tubing on frame jig... We are lagging to take pics dat moment, coz busy support shooting film "Mahakarya Indonesia"... But, here we capture some pics, after frame taken down from frame jig and then fully solid TIG welding... Look, this frame very awesome... It's narrow, simple & very ol'skool look!!... Today, We are still busy shooting Mahakarya Indonesia (Masterpiece of Indonesia) film, a program from Sampoerna (cigarette) Company... Now, take scene riding... We use 3 Retro's kustom bikes for this scene... Unfortunately 3 actors never ride kustom bike before... So, to minimum risk, we give them tutorial how to handle big bore engine our kustom bikes... Yes, they learning fast... After minutes test ride, they can ride smooth... Finally, we are calm to give keys to them...
We start build frame for "KUSTOMFEST 2012 Bike give away" today...
The concept is traditional ol'skool chopper (rigid oppkross lah), narrow rake, slim, compact, and most important thing, this bike design for average asia body....
Half day technical drawing and calculation, then we start build frame...
Our lucky, we still hv some stock of necks, rear axles and some mountings for Triumph rigid frame, fully CNC machining - precision guarantee... This's cut lots of time for fabrication parts...
Today we set up our workshop for shooting Mahakarya Indonesia (Masterpiece of Indonesia) film, a program from Sampoerna (cigarette) Company... Inside workshop crowded installation cable for lightings, cameramen, etc... The focus of this film is 3 youth actors, the acting built a kustom bikes as represent one of Mahakarya Indonesia... Before start shoot, we busy teach & given some tutorial to assembly wheel, cutting tubing, tig welding for them... Believe us, it will be very cool... So, Keep eyes for this movie...

This sunday is time for classic bike... We got invitation afternoon ride to Rowo Jombor Lake from committee of "Djogja International Classic Bike Show 2012"... Yes, they are already success organized big classic bike event held in June 23-24, 2012... Beside riding, the meeting agenda are "buka" - the fasting breaking for moslem, evaluation their last event and discuss for next event... They luv classic bike, but mostly they are young guys, humble & very cool... Some of their bikes are original condition, but some other are full kustomized.... Old bike, young spirit...
We got little bit relaxed today... Some parts still in progress fabrication... So, we can take a breath... Drawing design internal stopper for MR X's air suspension, finished. Now, in process CNC machining... Waiting 2 days for machining this parts....
We do some works for SPORTON project, TIG welding some mountings & bungs... Strengthen welding in some area, while waiting some parts finish from cnc machine...
Our next schedule today, finishing some works for "Blacken Shovelhead" project, assembly front fork suspension, wiring kit, wheels, bolted front & rear Performance Machine calipers, and bleeding calipers. Yes, We still waiting the body kit coming from painter... Almost all shovelhead parts assembly alrady... Now, She look so cools....
"Ikes" coming today, he's ol'skool guy, riding addicted, speed junkies and one of our close friend... He just back trip Jogja to Bali go & back, ride his Triumph T100 - 2008... Look, his Triumph look awesome... Yes, we do some touchings for his Triumph... We change stock Triumph front end, with upside down front end plus aluminum front fender and kustom pipes... Also some magic jetting make his bike run faster... We were talk many things & the most important is planning riding to far west, to other continent... OK, Lets do it, Brother...
Today is blessing day... Coz LT's Mom got birthday today... Happy birthday Mama Glagah, Wish all blessing GOD to you... OK, back to workshop, We start open door O8.30 AM and hv one customer waiting... He hv problem with his sportster, the carb over flow and need us to fix it plus routine service maintenance...
We hv schedule with Mr X project...
A kustom bike built from ground, pro-street model... Long, low, shiny, blink blink chrome & sure big bore engine (S&S 113ci polished engine)... He request us to hiding his identity, so we name it Mr X project... We built almost all parts for this project, from pro-street softail frame fat tires single swing arm, kustom body, rear brake on transmission, etc... This bike near finish, but left a problem coming from rear air suspension... When we design this frame, we used legend air suspension to make calculation... Now, we use shotgun air suspension... Legend, hv internal suspension travel stopper, but shotgun doesn't hv... Long suspension travel become boomerang, when this bike get big load, rear fender will hit seat's frame... So, we decided open the internal shot gun suspension and make our self the internal suspension stopper... Base from our experience repair lots air suspension problem, we are very confident to do this...
