Monday slow & flat...

Monday, we open doors late... This month is The holy month of Ramadhan (arabian calender),  all adults moslem do worship fasting for a month... Everything run slow & flat in workshop... This morning we got a guest bring his HD twincam for routine service & electrical problem, not interest to talking about...

Today, We hv schedule for Blacken Shovelhead project... We got delivery some parts from powdercoating company.... Some items which not delivered in firts shipment, forward control & some small items, plus blacken exhausts... The powdercoating company offering us to try his new service, high temp coating... So, we try to blacken these exhaust, in their promotion they guarantee their coating will not burn & their powder special made to coating high temp stuff... Yes, the exhaust look so sweeet in blacken, so far... But, let we see the coating quality later, after bolted and hours hard ride... Next work, We hv assembly oil tank, battery mounting, oil hose kit, wiring kit, pre-jetting S&S carb plus air cleaner cover, bolted forward control & some items parts... The shovelhead look better & complete right now...We still waiting gas tank, fenders & some parts delivery from painter... Stay tune the update....

SPORTON project....
We do some works for SPORTON project... The rear set plus foot pegs finish on schedule & delivered to workshop this morning... These parts made from 6061 billet alloy & still smell liquid cooling from CNC machine... All smooth & finished like our drawing design... After polished, you can mirroring in these parts... We fabricate kustom mount bungs for rear set... Next, We assembly all rear set material in Jig, then do TIG welding right & left mountings to frame... After couple tackle welding, we checked all mountings line up with bare eyes... Drawing design in our hands is something technical, but watching with bare eyes is about art taste & real... I think, it's very nice after rear set installed... We finished rear axle tensioners this afternoon before "buka" (Iftar, the fast-breaking)... All works run on the track, on schedule... Keep watching the progress....
